Clippers Lose to Leavitt

Yarmouth fell 2-1 to Leavitt in an important divisional matchup, which will leave Yarmouth on the bubble for a final playoff spot.  The Clippers will play their final home game of the season against Cape Elizabeth on Monday.  Game time is 4:50 pm.

Clippers celebrate Haywood’s tying goal

Leavitt took the lead in the first period on a top-corner blast as the Kings outshot Yarmouth 10-6.  In the second period, Yarmouth tied up the game when Matt Sanborn ’19 threw the puck onto the net from a tough angle and Kurt Heywood ’19 was able to put the loose puck in the net.  However, a few minutes later, Leavitt would score what would prove to the game-winner.

Watson was called upon to make a number of key saves

Charles Henry Watson ’22 played another strong game and turned away 23 of 24 shots.


Camden Miller ’22 played a solid game on defense
